ICT and Internet have changed the world irreversibly. Business, science, education, governmental and non-governmental organizations and institutions, people – we all already work in different way, communicate in different way, live in different way. But besides the positive aspects this change has brought us, the security problem has arisen. The technology became a goal and instrument to criminal groups.

  • We are witnesses to constantly increasing number of computer attacks to important systems threatening the society and causing losses in millions;

  • We are witnesses to using ICT for collecting information and facilitating committing traditional crimes;

  • We are witnesses to Internet child abuse;

  • We are witnesses to intellectual property rights violations.

Cyber crime is a serious problem and needs serious approach. The importance of the problem should be realized, the society should be aware and informed, the cyber security and cyber crime specialists should improve their qualification and knowledge. The International Cyber Investigation Training Academy has the expertise to do this, can do this and is doing it.
